Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand score on a penalty shot just 3:53 into tonight’s first period against the Florida Panthers at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

// The penalty came from former Bruins right winger Rielly Smith as he hooked Marchand going in alone on Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo. The goal earned the feisty forward his 300th point in the NHL, all with the Bruins franchise.

// This season in nine games played, the Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada native has 4-7-11 number in the early campaign.

About Mark Allred Jr

Long-time Boston Bruins fan and former beer league goaltender for over 30-years on the ice, Inline, and Dek-Hockey throughout New England. Retired and needed a hobby so writing about the B's talent in the lower levels of developmental hockey is my favorite topic and main focus. It's important to know about tomorrow's stars today in my opinion.
